Faster, Smarter Approvals

Approval rules and routing are now managed in one unified experience, making setup and changes easier for admins. Trips automatically re-route to the right approvers when meaningful changes are made. Initial approvals can happen without driver or vehicle assignment, allowing planning to start earlier.

Recurring Trips Flexibility

Users can make non-impactful edits without restarting the approval process, while a recurring series is pending for approval. After approval, only future trips can be updated, while past trips remain unchanged. Users can now cancel entire trip series in a single action.

Clearer Communication

Requestors receive email notifications when a recurring series is approved or declined. Approved trip printouts now show who approved the trip.

Faster Trip Creation with Saved Locations

Users can set a default departure location that is automatically pre-populated when creating a trip. Frequently used locations can be saved as favourites for quick selection.

Driver Activation & Deactivation

Admins can deactivate unavailable drivers and reactivate them later. Prevents assignment of inactive drivers and preserves complete history.

Vehicle Activation & Deactivation

Deactivate or restore vehicles without losing data. Ensures inactive or under-maintenance vehicles can’t be scheduled until reactivated.

Multi-Level Approval Progress

For requests with multiple approval levels, users see which approval level the request is currently on (e.g., Level 2 of 3).

Email Notifications for Trip Updates

Automatic emails for impactful and non-impactful trip changes. Keeps all stakeholders aligned and ensures re-approval only when required.
