Creating a project
The Forecast section of the Origin app can be used to create a new project for a specific forecast. You can add a forecast for various assets and then tie those assets with the same forecast to a single project. By doing so, you can easily keep track of all the work orders assigned to the assets. Also, the forecast will help you determine whenever the assets need repairs and maintenance.
How to create a project with a forecast

Go to the Forecast section by clicking on Forecast from the left navigation panel.

From the Forecast Name column, click on the forecast for which you want to create a project.

You'll be directed to a page with this forecast's details.

Click on + Create a project button on the top right side.

A modal will open.

Choose the option Include all years to create a project for all years.

Choose the One Year option to create a project for a specific year.

Selecting the One Year option will allow you to choose the year by clicking on the drop-down.

In the Project Name field, type in the name of the project.

Click Create to proceed or Cancel to go back.
