Life Cycle Strategy Overview
Objective: Learn what a Life Cycle Strategy is and how to add one to a Model in Brightly Predictor.
A Life Cycle Strategy is a mathematical simulation of engineering parameters that reflect the pattern or behavior of infrastructure assets using the concept of remaining life.
In Brightly Predictor, the Treatment Criteria and Treatment Effects parameters determine the Boolean statements that are applied to each asset during simulation.
Add Life Cycle Strategy
To add a new 'Life Cycle Strategy', first select the 'Model' tab, then select the 'Add' button in the 'Life Cycle Strategy' box.
Alternatively, navigate to the 'Life Cycle Strategy' tab and select the 'Life Cycle Strategy' button.
On the following screen, enter the 'Life Cycle Strategy' name and 'Description', and select an option for trigger and effect.
