Add Unit Cost Variation
Objective: Gain an understanding of how to add a Unit Cost Variation in Assetic Predictor
Due to local constraints such as asset hierarchy, geographical locations, asset classification, and environmental constraints, it is likely that the same treatment may incur a different cost for different assets. For example, when carrying out a major renewal, five-star rated assets will demand better quality finishing than three-star assets, or a spray seal in the center of town may cost twice as much as a residential street due to traffic management.
To add a Unit Cost Variation, click on the Treatment tab within a template, then click Add in the unit cost variation box and the following screen will appear:
Give the Unit Cost Variation a unique name, then click OK to add it to the Template. Multiple Unit Cost Variations can be added at once by coping from a spreadsheet and right-clicking within the Unit Cost Variation Box to paste them in:
To change a Unit Cost Variation name or delete a Unit Cost Variation entirely, select the Variation Name and click Edit or Remove.
Once the Unit Cost Variations have all be added, click Save to save the changes to the Template.
