Gap Analysis

Gap analysis is a method of assessing the gap between an agency's current asset management practices, and their future desirable asset management practices - International Infrastructure Management Manual.
In monetary terms, Gap Analysis refers to the gap between the optimum annual budgets to maintain assets at a desired service level at the currently allocated budget.
Predictor provides the facility to carry out a 'Gap Analysis' on your asset portfolio that will provide a rationale for securing the need for additional funding. You should have a budget entered in the Strategy section to carry out gap analysis.
