Assets created through the integration appear in the default site specified during onboarding.

Moving an asset to a different site or location

  • Go to SettingsHierarchy Management in Senseye.

  • Select the asset from the list.

  • Select Move Asset.

  • Choose the new site or location.

  • Select Save.

Work Order Creation

When Senseye generates a case, the system automatically creates a work order in Asset Essentials.

Work Order Details

The generated work order includes:

  • A default title: Senseye case evaluation

  • Case description details from Senseye, including creation date and time (displayed in UTC)

  • The associated asset (assets must be connected first)

  • A reference link to the originating Senseye case

  • An indication that Senseye generated the work order. You can use this indicator to route work orders as needed.

  • The work event represents maintenance or corrective action taken on the asset.

Data Passed to the Senseye Work Event

Senseye populates the work event with the following information:

  • Asset Essentials work order number

  • Action taken from the work order

  • Work type (defaults to Non-Routine)

  • Labor hours (if entered)

  • Work date (defaults to the work order close date)

  • Work activity (defaults to Repair)

  • Senseye Related flag (defaults to Yes)

Additional fields—such as downtime avoided and failure—remain blank and can be updated manually in Senseye.
