Accessories
Objective: Gain an understanding of how to capture details of all accessories within the Fleet section in myData.
The main purpose of utilization of this section is to assist with capturing accurate details of all accessories that are fitted or included with a new/current item of plant, vehicle or equipment.
The list of accessories is not global, there is no pool of accessories to choose from.
Accessories are defined and entered on a per asset basis.
The information recorded includes:
Name: Description of the accessory
Type: Description of the type of accessory i.e. Driving, Body, Tray etc
Supplier: Indicates the company the item was purchased from
Brand: Indicates the specific brand of the accessory
Model: Indicates the specific model of the accessory
Service Schedule: Indicates the service interval of the accessory
Measure: Indicates the number of accessories required
Unit Type: Indicates whether the unit rate is calculated in length (mm), area (m2) or quantity (1)
Unit Rate: Cost of the accessory per measure (quantity)
Comments: Additional comments field for staff to enter any other relevant information pertaining to the accessory i.e. Fit date, barcode, re-order code etc.
